As decided at our March AGM the Thames Valley Traction Engine Club is investing in some excellent speakers and talks to improve the quality of our meetings.
We are pleased to announce for the April meeting we will be having Michael Pumphrey and his father Robert Pumphrey BEM coming to give a talk entitled “100 Gold Sovereigns” – Farming with Steam, Pumfreys of Duxford.
Pumfreys have owned and operated a number of engines in both commercial and and preservation times and still own more Ruston Procter traction engine “SUCCESS” which they have owned since buying new.
See you at The Angel, Bath Rd, Woolhampton, Reading RG7 5RT from 1930 on Monday 8th April
All are welcome, non club members should give a donation on the door (£5 suggested).
