Our July Club meeting will be held at Fred Coopers yard at Thatcham, for our annual Models night. See you on Monday 10th July from 7pm.

Please note the event starts from 2pm onwards.

When you arrive, please make your way up the drive to the Fifield Central platform where David will be waiting. There is a second entrance in Fifield Road, this is NOT to be used as there are no parking facilities.

Due to the extra Bank Holiday for the King’s Coronation, we will be having the May Club meeting a week later on 15th May.

For the May meeting we will be showing a film about a number of engines attending a small do at Appleford in 2012.

Due to Easter falling on the second Monday of April, the April Club meeting will be moved to Monday 17th April.

For this meeting we have Old Glory correspondent Simon Colbeck giving a talk on Five decades of steam. More details to follow on this exciting talk.

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Monday 13th March, at 19:30 pm at the Angel Pub Woolhampton. Following the AGM we will be showing some further steam related videos.

The 4 Kingdoms Adventure farm are hosting Royal British Legion Charity Event on
10th and 11th June. They are looking for various groups to support them in creating an unforgettable experience for the 1000 service personnel and their families who will be attending. Traction and steam engines at the event would be a fantastic addition, and they were hoping TVTEC members could help them in providing some exhibits.

Th goal is to provide veterans with opportunities for connection, support, and advice, and the TVTEC’s participation would make a significant contribution to the success of the event.

As a token of appreciation, all volunteers will receive free entry to 4 Kingdoms Adventure Farm and will be provided with refreshments, food, and drinks throughout the day. If you’d like to bring your family for a visit, just let 4 kingdoms know, and they’ll be happy to arrange tickets for you. If anyone requires any support, 4 Kingdoms would be more than happy to assist you with fuel for your vehicles.

$ Kingdoms have a fantastic line up of groups supporting us this year, including the 501st Stormtroopers, the RAF Battle of Britain display team, The Wolves of Midgard Vikings, RBL Bikers, RBL Drummers, and local Cubs and Scouts groups.
